৩-এফ ট্যাবলেট হল এড্রুক লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত লিভোফ্লক্সাসিন হেমিহাইড্রেট ৫০০ মিগ্রা যুক্ত একটি অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক (ট্যাবলেট)। মূল্য ৳১৪.০০ প্রতি ট্যাবলেট (২০ টির প্যাক: ৳২৮০.০০)। সাইনোসাইটিস, নিউমোনিয়া, মূত্রনালীর সংক্রমণসহ নানান ব্যাকটেরিয়াজনিত রোগে ব্যবহৃত হয়। ৩০°C এর নিচে, আলো ও আর্দ্রতা থেকে দূরে রাখুন।

এই থার্ড-জেনারেশন ফ্লুরোকুইনোলোন ব্যাকটেরিয়ার DNA জাইরেজ এনজাইমকে inhibite করে। ব্যবহৃত হয়ঃ

তীব্র সাইনুসাইটিস (১০-১৪ দিন)

এন্টাসিড বা আয়রন সাপ্লিমেন্টের সাথে সেবন এড়িয়ে চলুন।

পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে বমি বমি ভাব, পাতলা পায়খানা দেখা দিতে পারে। গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে নিষেধ। অতিরিক্ত মাত্রায় সেবন করলে পাকস্থলী ধৌত করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়। শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে ওজনের উপর ভিত্তি করে ডোজ নির্ধারণ করা হয়।

এই ঔষধের প্রয়োগ পদ্ধতি সম্পর্কে স্পষ্ট নির্দেশনা মেনে চলুন। খাবারের ১ ঘন্টা আগে বা পরে সেব্য। এড্রুক লিমিটেড-এর গুণগত মান নিশ্চিত করে প্রস্তুতকৃত ৩-এফ ট্যাবলেট সাশ্রয়ী মূল্যে প্রাপ্ত।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 250-750 mg once daily. Sinusitis: 500 mg for 10-14 days. Pediatric dose: 10 mg/kg. Renal impairment requires dose adjustment. Tablets may be taken with/without food. IV infusion over 60-90 minutes.

Side Effects

3-F is generally well tolerated. However, a few side-effects can usually be seen. There is a risk of retinal detachment. Other side-effects include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence and rare occurrence of phototoxicity (0.1%). Side-effects that may be seen very rarely include tremors, depression, anxiety, confusion etc.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category C. Contraindicated in lactation due to infant risks.

Precautions & Warnings

Avoid sunlight exposure. Maintain hydration. Monitor renal function. Slow IV infusion required. Do not crush tablets.

Use in Special Populations

Monitor renal function in elderly. Pediatric bone growth precautions. Renal impairment requires dose reduction. No adjustment for hepatic disease.

Overdose Effects

3-F exhibits a low potential for acute toxicity. However, in the events of an acute overdosage, the stomach should be emptied. The patients should be kept under observation and appropriate hydration should be maintained.
