থ্রিডি (কোলিক্যালসিফেরল) হলো জেনফার বাংলাদেশ লিমিটেড প্রযোজিত একটি উচ্চক্ষমতাসম্পন্ন ভিটামিন ডি৩ সাপ্লিমেন্ট। প্রতি ক্যাপসুল-এ ৪০০০০ আইইউ কোলিক্যালসিফেরল [ভিটামিন ডি৩] রয়েছে, যা ঘাটতি পূরণ ও হাড়ের স্বাস্থ্য রক্ষায় সহায়ক। প্রতি ক্যাপসুলের মূল্য ৳৩৫.০০ এবং ৬ ক্যাপসুলের স্ট্রিপ ৳২১০.০০।

সূর্যালোকের অভাবে বা খাদ্যগত ভিটামিন ডি এর অভাব রয়েছে এমন রোগীদের জন্য এই ঔষধ অত্যাবশ্যক। এটি ক্যালসিয়াম শোষণে সাহায্য করে, রিকেটস ও অস্টিওপোরোসিস প্রতিরোধ করে। গর্ভাবস্থায় প্রি-একলামসিয়া রোধেও এটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।

মাত্রার নির্দেশনা:

প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: ঘাটতি পূরণে সপ্তাহে ৪০০০০ আইইউ (৭ সপ্তাহ)।
কিশোর (১২-১৮ বছর): প্রতি ২ সপ্তাহে ২০০০০ আইইউ।

ম্যাগনেসিয়ামযুক্ত অ্যান্টাসিড বা কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েডের সাথে ব্যবহারে সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন। পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে বমিভাব, মাথাব্যথা বা ক্যালসিয়ামের মাত্রা বৃদ্ধি হতে পারে। ঔষধটি ৩০°C তাপমাত্রার নিচে আলো ও আর্দ্রতা থেকে দূরে রাখুন। বিকল্প হিসেবে ৩ডি ২০০০০ আইইউ বিবেচনা করুন।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 40,000 IU weekly for 7 weeks for deficiency correction. Adolescents (12-18 years): 20,000 IU every 2 weeks for 6 weeks. Osteoporosis patients: 20,000 IU monthly. Take capsule with meals. Treatment duration should be monitored through serum 25(OH)D levels.

Side Effects

Symptoms rarely include anorexia, lassitude, nausea & vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, weight loss, polyuria, sweating, headache, thirst, vertigo, and raised concentrations of calcium and phosphate in plasma and urine.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safe up to 4,000 IU in pregnancy. Monitor infant serum calcium if maternal dose exceeds RDA during lactation. Regular calcium monitoring recommended for pregnant women.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor calcium/creatinine in renal/hepatic impairment patients. Check vitamin D levels biannually during prolonged use. Dose adjustment of Cholecalciferol may be required.

Use in Special Populations

Not approved for children below 12 years. Dose reduction needed in elderly and renal impairment patients. Hepatic dysfunction requires dose modification due to altered metabolism.

Overdose Effects

It can lead to hypervitaminosis D.
