A-Clox IM/IV Injection (এসিএমই ল্যাবরেটরিজ লি. প্রস্তুত) হলো ক্লক্সাসিলিন সোডিয়াম ২৫০ মিগ্রা/ভায়াল সমৃদ্ধ একটি পেনিসিলিনেজ-প্রতিরোধী অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক। দাম ভায়ালপ্রতি ৳২০.০০ (৫টির প্যাক: ৳১০০.০০)। গ্রাম-পজিটিভ সংক্রমণ যেমন ফোঁড়া, নিউমোনিয়া, সেপটিসেমিয়ার চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।

এটি ত্বক, শ্বাসতন্ত্র ও গভীর টিস্যু সংক্রমণে কার্যকর। প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য মাংসপেশী/শিরায় ২৫০–৫০০ মিগ্রা ৪–৬ ঘণ্টা পরপর প্রয়োগ করা হয়। শিশুদের মাত্রা বয়সানুযায়ী নির্ধারিত। ওয়াটার ফর ইনজেকশন বা লিডোকেইন দ্রবণে মিশিয়ে ব্যবহার করুন।

২৫°সে.-এর নিচে শুকনো স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন। পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ায় র্যাশ, জ্বর বা পেটখারাপ দেখা দিলে ব্যবহার বন্ধ করুন। IM/IV ইনজেকশন-এর অন্যান্য বিকল্প হিসেবে A-Clox ৫০০ মিগ্রা বা ১২৫ মিগ্রা/৫মিলি সাসপেনশন পাওয়া যায়।

এসিএমই ল্যাবরেটরিজের গুণগত মান নিশ্চিত করে এই ইনজেকশন উচ্চমাত্রায় নিরাপদ। ক্রনিক কিডনি রোগে ডাক্তারের পরামর্শে মাত্রা সমন্বয় করুন। প্লুরাল বা জয়েন্ট কেভিটিতে প্রয়োগের ক্ষেত্রে স্টেরাইল প্রক্রিয়া মেনে চলুন।

Dosage & Administration

Adult IM dose: 250mg every 4-6 hours. IV dose: 500mg 4-6 hourly. Pediatric dose: 25-50% of adult dose based on age. Administer within 30 minutes of reconstitution. Treatment duration typically 7-14 days depending on infection severity.

Side Effects

ক্লক্সাসিলিন এর পার্শ্ব-প্রতিক্রিয়া অন্যান্য পেনিসিলিনের মতই। এগুলো সাধারণতঃ মৃদু ও ক্ষণস্থায়ী হয়ে থাকে। এই সমস্ত পার্শ্ব-প্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে রয়েছে জ্বর, ডায়রিয়া, অজীর্ণ (indigestion), র‍্যাশ-আরটিকারিয়েল অথবা ইরিথিমেটাস জাতীয়। যে কোন ধরণের র‍্যাশে রোগীকে এ ওষুধ দেয়া বন্ধ করতে হবে।

Pregnancy category B. Caution during lactation. Consult physician before use in breastfeeding mothers.

Always perform allergy testing. Monitor renal function in kidney patients. Use proper aseptic technique to avoid injection site reactions.

Use in Special Populations

Monitor renal function in geriatric/paediatric patients. Hepatic impairment requires dose modification. Use in pregnancy only if clearly needed.
