এটি শ্লেষ্মার এসিড মিউকোপলিস্যাকারাইড ভেঙে এর সান্দ্রতা কমায়, কফ নির্গমন সহজ করে। ২ বছর以上的 শিশু ও প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য উপযুক্ত, মাত্রা বয়সানুযায়ী ½ চামচ (২-৬ বছর) থেকে ২ চামচ দিনে তিনবার (প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক)।

Dosage & Administration

Adults & 12+ years: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) thrice daily. 6-12 years: 5 ml thrice daily. 2-6 years: 2.5 ml thrice daily. Below 2 years: Medical supervision required. Administer after meals. Treatment duration typically ranges 4-10 days based on symptom severity.

Side Effects

Gastrointestinal side effects may occur occasionally. A transient rise in serum aminotransferase values has been reported. Other reported side effects include-headache, vertigo (dizziness) and allergic reactions.
