এ-ফ্লক্স হল ফ্লুক্লক্সাসিলিন সোডিয়াম (১২৫ মি.গ্রা./৫ মি.লি.) সমৃদ্ধ একটি পেনিসিলিনেজ-প্রতিরোধী অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক। একমি ল্যাবরেটরিজ লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত এই সাসপেনশন পাউডার গ্রাম-পজিটিভ ব্যাকটেরিয়াজনিত সংক্রমণের চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রতি ইউনিট ৳৮০.০০ মূল্যের এই ঔষধ ত্বক, শ্বাসনালী ও অন্যান্য সংক্রমণের জন্য সাশ্রয়ী সমাধান প্রদান করে।

এ-ফ্লক্স স্ট্যাফাইলোকক্কাস অরিয়াস ও পেনিসিলিনেজ উৎপাদনকারী ব্যাকটেরিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে কার্যকর। ফোঁড়া, নিউমোনিয়া, অস্টিওমায়েলাইটিস এবং অপারেশন পরবর্তী সংক্রমণ রোধে এটি ব্যবহৃত হয়। পেনিসিলিনেজ-প্রতিরোধী পেনিসিলিন শ্রেণীর এই ঔষধের ২৫০ মি.গ্রা. ও ৫০০ মি.গ্রা. ডোজ সহজলভ্য।

প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য মাত্রা: দিনে ৪ বার ২৫০ মি.গ্রা.। শিশুদের বয়সানুপাতে ডোজ পরিবর্তিত হয়। প্রোবেনসিডের সাথে ব্যবহারে প্লাজমা ঘনত্ব বৃদ্ধি পায়। বমি, ডায়রিয়া, র‌্যাশ সাধারণ পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া। আলো ও তাপ থেকে দূরে শুষ্ক স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন।

গর্ভাবস্থায় (এফডিএ ক্যাটাগরি বি) সতর্কতার সাথে ব্যবহার করুন। স্তন্যদানকালে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন। ফ্লুক্লক্সাসিলিন সোডিয়ামের বিকল্প বা একমি ল্যাবরেটরিজের অন্যান্য ঔষধ সম্পর্কে জানতে মেডেক্সলির ওয়েবসাইট ভিজিট করুন।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 250mg every 6 hours. Children (2-10 yrs): Half adult dose. Renal impairment: Dose adjustment needed if creatinine clearance <10ml/min. Treatment duration: 7-14 days based on severity.

Side Effects

There have been some common side effects of gastrointestinal tract such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dyspepsia and other minor gastrointestinal disturbances. Besides these rashes, urticaria, purpura, fever, interstitial nephritis, hepatitis and cholestatic jaundice have been reported.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category B: Use only if clearly needed. May cause infant diarrhea/rash during lactation.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor liver function tests. Perform CBC with prolonged use. Keep powder for suspension away from children.

Use in Special Populations

Renal impairment requires dose reduction. Pediatric dosing based on body weight. Monitor serum bilirubin in hepatic impairment.
