এ-ফ্লক্স (ফ্লুক্লক্সাসিলিন সোডিয়াম ৫০০ মি.গ্রা.) হল একমি ল্যাবরেটরিজ লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকারী একটি পেনিসিলিনেজ-প্রতিরোধী অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক ক্যাপসুল। প্রতিটি ক্যাপসুলের মূল্য ৳১৪.০০, যেখানে প্রতি স্ট্রিপে ৪টি ক্যাপসুল (৳৫৬.০০) এবং প্রতি প্যাকে ১২টি স্ট্রিপ (৳৬৭২.০০) পাওয়া যায়। এটি সাধারণ পেনিসিলিন প্রতিরোধী গ্রাম-পজিটিভ ব্যাকটেরিয়াজনিত সংক্রমণে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

এই ক্যাপসুল ফোড়া, সেলুলাইটিসের মতো ত্বকের সংক্রমণ, নিউমোনিয়া/সাইনুসাইটিসের শ্বাসতন্ত্রীয় সমস্যা এবং অস্টিওমায়েলাইটিসের মতো জটিল ক্ষেত্রে কার্যকর। ব্যাকটেরিয়ার কোষপ্রাচীর গঠন বাধাগ্রস্ত করে এটি Staphylococcus প্রজাতিকে ধ্বংস করে।

প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য মাত্রা: ২৫০ মি.গ্রা. দিনে ৪ বার, তীব্র সংক্রমণে দ্বিগুণ। শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে মাত্রা অর্ধেক বা চতুর্থাংশ। প্রোবেনসিডের সাথে ব্যবহারে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন। বমি, ডায়রিয়া বা র‌্যাশের মতো পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া দেখা দিতে পারে।

ফ্লুক্লক্সাসিলিন সোডিয়াম ভিত্তিক এই ঔষধ গর্ভাবস্থা/স্তন্যদানকালে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শে ব্যবহার করুন। আলো ও তাপ থেকে দূরে শুষ্ক স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন। এ-ফ্লক্স ২৫০ মি.গ্রা. বা ইনজেক্টেবল ফর্মুলেশন প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 250 mg every 6 hours (Max 8g/day). Children (2-10 years): Half adult dose. Renal impairment (creatinine clearance <10 mL/min) requires dose reduction. Administer on empty stomach. Treatment duration typically 7-14 days based on infection severity.

Side Effects

There have been some common side effects of gastrointestinal tract such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dyspepsia and other minor gastrointestinal disturbances. Besides these rashes, urticaria, purpura, fever, interstitial nephritis, hepatitis and cholestatic jaundice have been reported.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed (FDA Category B). Excreted in breast milk – use caution during lactation.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor liver enzymes periodically. Perform blood tests during prolonged therapy. Discontinue immediately if allergic reactions occur.

Use in Special Populations

Elderly patients require renal function assessment. Hepatic impairment needs dose adjustment. Safety not established in neonates.
