এ-ওয়ান প্লাস হল প্যারাসিটামল ৫০০ মি.গ্রা. ও ক্যাফেইন ৬৫ মি.গ্রা. সমৃদ্ধ একটি যুগ্ম ব্যথানাশক ট্যাবলেট। এপেক্স ফার্মা লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত এই ঔষধের ইউনিট মূল্য ৳২.৪০ এবং প্রতিটি স্ট্রিপে ১০ টি ট্যাবলেট পাওয়া যায় ৳২৪.০০ এ। জ্বর, মাইগ্রেন ও পেশীব্যথায় এটি কার্যকরী সমাধান প্রদান করে।

এই কম্বিনেশন ঔষধে প্যারাসিটামল প্রস্টাগ্লান্ডিন উৎপাদন বাধা দিয়ে ব্যথা ও জ্বর কমায়, অপরদিকে ক্যাফেইন রক্তনালী সংকোচনের মাধ্যমে মাইগ্রেনের তীব্রতা হ্রাস করে। এ-ওয়ান প্লাস ট্যাবলেট ৫০০ মি.গ্রা.+৬৫ মি.গ্রা.-এর আন্তঃআণবিক সংযুক্তি দ্রবণীয়তা বাড়িয়ে দেয়, যা দ্রুত ঔষধের কার্যকারিতা নিশ্চিত করে।

১২ বছর ঊর্ধ্বদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিদিন সর্বোচ্চ ৮ ট্যাবলেট পর্যন্ত সেবনযোগ্য। গর্ভাবস্থায় ব্যবহারের আগে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ আবশ্যক। পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া হিসাবে ত্বকে র্যাশ দেখা দিলে ব্যবহার বন্ধ করুন। ঔষধটি শিশুর নাগালের বাইরে শুষ্ক স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন।

অন্যান্য প্যারাসিটামল + ক্যাফেইন ভিত্তিক ঔষধের তুলনায় এ-ওয়ান প্লাস সাশ্রয়ী মূল্যে পাওয়া যায়। তবে লিভারের সমস্যা থাকলে বা অ্যালকোহল সেবনের ক্ষেত্রে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন। ঔষধের মাত্রাতিরিক্ত ব্যবহার লিভার ক্ষতির কারণ হতে পারে।

Dosage & Administration

Adults & 12+ years: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours. Max 8 tablets/day. Contraindicated below 12 years. Dose adjustment needed in renal/hepatic impairment. Take with water after meals. Do not exceed 3 days without medical advice.

Side Effects

Side effects of paracetamol are usually mild, though haematological reactions including thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, pancytopenia, neutropenia, and agranulocytosis have been reported. Pancreatitis, skin rashes, and other allergic reactions occur occasionally.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Short-term use safe in pregnancy under medical supervision. Excreted in breast milk minimally—use lowest effective dose during lactation.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor liver enzymes with prolonged use. Avoid concurrent Paracetamol+Caffeine products. Check serum creatinine/bilirubin during long-term therapy.

Use in Special Populations

Halve initial dose for geriatric patients. Max 4 tablets/day in hepatic impairment. Administer every 8 hours if GFR <30 mL/min.

Overdose Effects

Symptoms of Paracetamol overdose in the first 24 hours are pallor, nausea, vomiting, anorexia and abdominal pain. Liver damage may become apparent 12 to 40 hours after ingestion. Abnormalities of glucose metabolism and metabolic acidosis may occur.
