এ-ফেনিকল (ক্লোরামফেনিকল ০.৫%) চোখের ড্রপ হিসাবে একমি ল্যাবরেটরিজ-এর উৎপাদিত একটি অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক। কনজাংকটিভাইটিস, কর্ণিয়া ইনফেকশনের চিকিৎসায় এটি কার্যকর। মূল্য ৳34.50, যা সাশ্রয়ী।

এটি ব্যাকটেরিয়ার প্রোটিন তৈরিতে বাধা দিয়ে কাজ করে। প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও শিশুদের জন্য প্রথম ৭২ ঘন্টায় ৪-৬ বার ড্রপ দিতে হয়, পরে প্রতি ৪ ঘন্টায়। ৩ সপ্তাহের বেশি ব্যবহার না করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়। কাইমোট্রিপসিনের সাথে ব্যবহার এড়িয়ে চলুন।

Only take medicine on the advice of a registered doctor.

Dosage & Administration

Adults & children: 1-2 drops every 4-6 hours for first 72 hours, then every 4 hours. Continue treatment for 7 days, not exceeding 3 weeks without medical advice. Avoid contaminating dropper tip.

Side Effects

The systemic adverse reaction has not been observed within short-term topical use of A-Phenicol. The most frequently reported adverse reactions have been burning, stinging, conjunctival hyperemia, blood dyscrasia, allergic or inflammatory reactions, vesicular and maculopapular dermatitis.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safety during pregnancy/unconfirmed. Use under medical supervision. Avoid during lactation.

Precautions & Warnings

Avoid in minor infections. Monitor blood counts during prolonged use. Protect from light during storage.
