AB Kit Tablet 200 mg+200 mcg

এবি কিট ট্যাবলেট হলো রেনাটা পিএলসি প্রস্তুতকৃত একটি যুগ্ম ঔষধ, যাতে রয়েছে মিফেপ্রিস্টোন + মিসোপ্রোস্টল (২০০ মিগ্রা + ২০০ মাইক্রোগ্রাম)। প্রতি ইউনিটের দাম ৳৩০০ এই ট্যাবলেট গর্ভধারণের প্রথম ৯ সপ্তাহ (৬৩ দিন) মধ্যে ব্যবহারের জন্য বিশেষভাবে নির্দেশিত।

এটি প্রজেস্টেরন রিসেপ্টর ব্লক করে এবং জরায়ুর সংকোচন সৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে কাজ করে। চিকিৎসকের তত্ত্বাবধানে তিনটি ভিজিটে সম্পূর্ণ চিকিৎসা প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করতে হয়।

গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য:

• গর্ভকালীন বয়স আল্ট্রাসনোগ্রাফি করে নিশ্চিত করতে হবে
• অতিরিক্ত রক্তপাত হলে জরুরি চিকিৎসা প্রয়োজন
• ১০-১৪ দিন পর ফলোআপ ভিজিট বাধ্যতামূলক

সাধারণ পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে রয়েছে বমি বমি ভাব, ডায়রিয়া ও তলপেটে ব্যথা। গর্ভাবস্থার টিস্যু সম্পূর্ণ বের না হলে সার্জিক্যাল হস্তক্ষেপ প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। ঔষধ সেবনের পর ২ সপ্তাহ যৌনসংসর্গ এড়িয়ে চলতে হবে।

এই জরায়ু সক্রিয়কারী ঔষধ শুধুমাত্র রেজিস্টার্ড চিকিৎসকের প্রেসক্রিপশনে ব্যবহারযোগ্য। গর্ভাবস্থা পরবর্তী সময়ে পুনরায় গর্ভধারণ প্রতিরোধে কার্যকর পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়।

Day 1: 200mg mifepristone orally. Days 2-3: 800mcg misoprostol buccal/sublingual. Mandatory ultrasound follow-up at 10-14 days post-treatment. No dosage adjustment required for obese patients.

Mifepristone: The treatment procedure is designed to induce vaginal bleeding and uterine cramping necessary for Menstrual Regulation (MR). Commonly reported side effects were nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Pelvic pain, fainting, headache, dizziness, and asthenia occurred rarely.

Misoprostol: Gastro-intestinal side-effects like diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, flatulence, dyspepsia, headache, vomiting and constipation, shivering, hyperthermia, dizziness, pain due to uterine contractions, severe vaginal bleeding, shock, pelvic pain, uterine rupture (requiring surgical repair, hysterectomy and/or salpingo-oophorectomy).

Pregnancy Category X except for medical termination. Avoid misoprostol during lactation – may cause infant diarrhea. Suspend breastfeeding for 5-7 days post-mifepristone administration.

Remove intrauterine devices prior to treatment. Higher uterine rupture risk in women >35 years and smokers. Initiate effective contraception immediately post-treatment.

Reduce misoprostol dose in hepatic impairment. No renal dosage adjustment needed. Geriatric population not applicable for this indication.

Mifepristone: No serious adverse reactions were reported in tolerance studies in healthy nonpregnant female and healthy male subjects where Mifepristone was administered in single doses greater than threefold of 600mg for Menstrual Regulation (MR). If a patient ingests a massive overdose, she should be observed closely for signs of adrenal failure.

Misoprostol: Clinical signs that may indicate an overdose are a sedation, tremor, convulsions, dyspnea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, fever, palpitations, hypotension or bradycardia. Symptoms should be treated with supportive therapy. However, because Misoprostol is metabolized like a fatty acid, it is unlikely that dialysis would be the appropriate treatment for overdosage.
