এ্যাবডরিন (ডাইসাইক্লোভেরিন হাইড্রোক্লোরাইড), অপসোনিন ফার্মা লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত, গ্যাস্ট্রোইনটেস্টাইনাল ও মূত্রনালীর সমস্যার চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত একটি শক্তিশালী অ্যান্টিস্পাজমোডিক ট্যাবলেট। ১০ মিগ্রা শক্তির এই ঔষধ ইরিটেবল বাওয়েল সিন্ড্রোম, শিশুর কোলিক ও ডাইভার্টিকুলাইটিসে কার্যকর। প্রতি ইউনিট মূল্য ৳২.০১ সহ এটি সাশ্রয়ী সমাধান প্রদান করে।

এটি পেটের মাংসপেশির স্পাজম কমিয়ে ব্যথা নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে। প্রতি স্ট্রিপে ১০টি ট্যাবলেট (৳২০.১০/স্ট্রিপ) সংস্করণে পাওয়া যায়। গ্লুকোমা রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে নিষিদ্ধ। পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে শুষ্ক মুখ ও মাথাঘোরানো常见। ৩০°C এর নিচে, আলো ও আর্দ্রতা থেকে দূরে রাখুন।

প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের মৌখিক ডোজ ১০–২০ মিগ্রা দিনে তিনবার, ৬ মাস以上 শিশুদের ৫–১০ মিগ্রা। জটিল ক্ষেত্রে অস্থায়ী ইন্ট্রামাসকুলার ইনজেকশন (৮০ মিগ্রা/দিন) দেওয়া হয়। গর্ভাবস্থায় সতর্কতা সহকারে ব্যবহার করুন। স্তন্যদানকারী মায়েদের ক্ষেত্রেও সাবধানতা প্রয়োজন।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 10-20 mg orally 3 times daily. Children >6 months: 5-10 mg orally 3 times daily. Intramuscular injection (adults only): 80 mg/day in 4 divided doses. Switch to oral form ASAP. Do not exceed 1-2 days of injectable use. Pediatric dosing requires medical supervision.

Side Effects

Insomnia, mydriasis, cycloplegia, increased ocular tension, urinary hesitancy, palpitations, dyspnea.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category B: Use only if benefits outweigh risks. Avoid during lactation unless prescribed. Consult doctor.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor intraocular pressure in prolonged use. Caution advised in autonomic neuropathy. Follow prescribed dosage by Opsonin Pharma Ltd.

Overdose Effects

Toxic reaction seldom occurs with dicycloverine. The signs and symptoms of overdosage are headache; nausea; vomiting; blurred vision; dilated pupils; hot, dry skin; dizziness; dryness of the mouth; difficulty in swallowing; and CNS stimulation.
