Abex Syrup (30 mg+100 mg+1.25 mg)/5 ml

Abex Syrup হল ইবন সিনা ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস লিমিটেড-এর উৎপাদিত একটি শ্বাসযন্ত্রের সমস্যায় ব্যবহারযোগ্য সিরাপ। এতে Pseudoephedrine (৩০ মিগ্রা), Guaiphenesin (১০০ মিগ্রা), এবং Triprolidine (১.২৫ মিগ্রা) রয়েছে প্রতি ৫ মিলিলিটারে। দাম মাত্র ৳৩৫.০০, এটি সাশ্রয়ী মূল্যে নাক বন্ধ, কফ ও অ্যালার্জিজনিত লক্ষণ দূর করে।

ডোজ: বড়দের জন্য ১০ মিলি (২ চামচ) দিনে তিনবার। ৬-১২ বছর বয়সী শিশুদের ৫ মিলি। ২-৫ বছরের জন্য ২.৫ মিলি। গর্ভাবস্থায় সতর্কতাসহ ব্যবহার করুন। পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে ঝিমুনি বা মুখ শুকানো হতে পারে। ২ বছরের কম বয়সী শিশুর ক্ষেত্রে ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নিন।

অন্যান্য ঔষধ যেমন অ্যান্টিডিপ্রেসেন্টস বা ব্লাড প্রেশার মেডিসিনের সাথে মিথস্ক্রিয়া ঘটতে পারে। অতিরিক্ত মাত্রায় সেবনে মাথাঘোরা বা হৃদস্পন্দন বৃদ্ধি পেতে পারে। জরুরি চিকিৎসা প্রয়োজন। সংরক্ষণ করুন ২৫°C এর নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে।

Adults: 10 ml TDS. Children 6-12 yrs: 5 ml TDS. 2-5 yrs: 2.5 ml TDS. Take after meals. Do not exceed 7 days without medical supervision. Use measuring spoon provided.

CNS depression or excitation, drowsiness (reported most frequently), sleep disturbances, hallucinations (rarely reported), skin rashes with or without irritation, tachycardia, dryness of mouth, nose and throat have occasionally been reported.

Pregnancy Category C: Use only if potential benefit justifies risk. Triprolidine excreted in breast milk – consult physician before lactation.

Avoid alcohol and hazardous activities. Monitor BP in hypertensives. Not for chronic cough in smokers/asthmatics. Hepatic/renal impairment requires dose adjustment.

Elderly: Increased risk of urinary retention. Hepatic/renal impairment: Reduce dose. Pediatric safety under 2 yrs not established.

The effects of acute toxicity from Pseudoephedrine, guaiphenasine & triprolidine may include drowsiness, irritability, restlessness, lethargy, dizziness, gastrointestinal discomfort, respiratory depression, convulsion, tremor, tachycardia and hypertension. Incase of overdose, necessary measures should be taken to maintain and support respiration and control convulsion. Gastric lavage may be undertaken if indicated. Catheterization of bladder may be necessary.
