অ্যাবিকন ওরাল সাসপেনশন (হেলথকেয়ার ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস লিমিটেড প্রস্তুত) হল সোডিয়াম অ্যালজিনেট + পটাসিয়াম বাইকার্বনেট (৫০০ মি.গ্রা.+১০০ মি.গ্রা.)/৫ মি.লি. সমন্বিত একটি অ্যান্টাসিড। ৳১৫০.০০ মূল্যের এই ওরাল সাসপেনশন গ্যাস্ট্রিক রিফ্লাক্স, বদহজম ও হৃদযন্ত্রের জ্বালাপোড়ায় দ্রুত প্রতিকার দেয়। বিশেষ ‘রাফ্ট’ গঠন পদ্ধতিতে পাকস্থলীর অম্ল নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে।

ওষুধটি পাকস্থলীতে জেলের স্তর তৈরি করে অন্ননালীতে অম্ল প্রতিরোধ করে। গর্ভাবস্থা, হাইটাস হার্নিয়া এবং ল্যারিঙ্গোফেরিঞ্জিয়াল রিফ্লাক্সের চিকিৎসায় কার্যকরী। প্রাণায়ন বিহীন শারীরবৃত্তীয় ক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে কাজ করে বলে পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া কম।

মাত্রা নির্দেশিকা: প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের ৫-১০ মি.লি. দিনে ৩-৪ বার, ২-১২ বছর বয়সী শিশুরা ২.৫-৫ মি.লি. নেবে। ২ বছরের কম বয়সে ব্যবহার নিষেধ। ওরাল সাসপেনশন ফর্মুলেশন সেবনে সুবিধাজনক।

৩০°C তাপমাত্রার নিচে সংরক্ষণ করুন। কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য বা মাথাব্যথা হতে পারে। অন্যান্য ওষুধ (যেমন অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক) সেবনে ২ ঘন্টার ব্যবধান রাখুন। গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহারযোগ্য এই ওষুধ বয়স্ক রোগীদের জন্যও নিরাপদ।

Dosage & Administration

Suspension Dosage: Adults: 5-10 ml after meals & bedtime. Children 2-12 years: 2.5-5 ml. Duration: Until symptom relief; review after 7 days if unresolved. Administration: Shake well before use. Can be taken undiluted.

In addition to the desired effect of the drug, some side effects may appear such as: nausea, constipation, diarrhea or headache. In these cases consult a physician In case too big dosage has been taken, there might appear a sensation of swelling. In this case it is advisable to consult a physician.

Pregnancy Category: Safe if clinically indicated. Lactation: Compatible. No known risks to infants.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor calcium levels in renal/cardiac patients. Reduced efficacy in hypochlorhydria. Avoid prolonged use without medical supervision.

Pediatric: Contraindicated <2 years. Geriatric/Renal: No dose adjustment needed unless salt restriction required. Hepatic: Safe.
