এবিকন প্লাস সাসপেনশন (হেলথকেয়ার ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস প্রস্তুত) প্রতি ১০ মি.লি.-এ সোডিয়াম অ্যালজিনেট (৫০০ মিগ্রা), সোডিয়াম বাইকার্বোনেট (২৬৭ মিগ্রা) ও ক্যালসিয়াম কার্বোনেট (১৬০ মিগ্রা) সমন্বিত একটি মুখে সেবনের সাসপেনশন। ৳২৫০ মূল্যের এই ওষুধ পাকস্থলীর অ্যাসিড ও বুক জ্বালায় দ্রুত কার্যকরী।

হার্টবার্ন, গ্যাস্ট্রিক রিফ্লাক্স ও গর্ভকালীন অম্লজনিত সমস্যায় ব্যবহৃত এবিকন প্লাস অ্যাসিড নিস্ক্রিয় করে পাকস্থলীতে প্রতিরক্ষামূলক স্তর তৈরি করে। অ্যালজিনিক অ্যাসিড জেল ৪ ঘন্টা পর্যন্ত কার্যকর থাকে, যা খাদ্যনালীর জ্বালা প্রতিরোধে সহায়ক।

মাত্রা নির্দেশিকা:

১২+ বছর: ১০-২০ মি.লি. দিনে ৪ বার
৬-১২ বছর: ৫-১০ মি.লি. দিনে ৪ বার

৬ বছরের নিচে নিষিদ্ধ। খাবারের পর ও ঘুমানোর আগে সেব্য।

টেট্রাসাইক্লিন বা আয়রন সাপ্লিমেন্টের সাথে ২ ঘন্টা ব্যবধান বজায় রাখুন। কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য বা ফ্লাটুলেন্স দেখা দিলে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন। গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে নিরাপদ। ৩০°C এর নিচে শুষ্ক স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন।

Only take medicine on the advice of a registered doctor.

Dosage & Administration

Adults & 12+ years: 10-20 ml 4 times daily (after meals & bedtime). 6-12 years: 5-10 ml same schedule. Contraindicated below 6 years. Shake suspension well before use. Do not exceed 7 days without medical advice.

Side Effects

In addition to the desired effect of the drug, some side effects may appear such as: constipation, flatulence, stomach cramp or belching. In these cases consult a physician. If too big dose has been taken, there might appear a sensation of swelling. In this case, it is advisable to consult a physician.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safe in pregnancy/lactation. No evidence of fetal/infant harm in clinical studies.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor sodium/calcium levels in cardiac/renal patients. Use under 12 years only with prescription. Avoid prolonged use.

Use in Special Populations

Assess renal function in elderly. Contraindicated in renal/hepatic impairment. Strict pediatric dosing required.

Overdose Effects

In the event of over dosage symptomatic treatment should be given. The patient may notice abdominal distension.
