অ্যাবাইরন ট্যাবলেট ২৫০ মিগ্রা হল জিসকা ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত অ্যাবিরাটেরোন অ্যাসিটেট সমৃদ্ধ প্রোস্টেট ক্যান্সার চিকিৎসার ঔষধ। প্রতি ট্যাবলেটের মূল্য ৳৫২০ (২৮ টির স্ট্রিপ ৳১৪,৫৬০)। মেটাস্ট্যাটিক CRPC ও উচ্চ-ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ CSPC রোগীদের জন্য প্রেডনিসোনের সাথে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

এটি CYP17 এনজাইম বাধাদিয়ে অ্যান্ড্রোজেন উৎপাদন কমানোর মাধ্যমে কাজ করে। খালি পেটে দিনে একবার ৪টি ট্যাবলেট (মোট ১০০০ মিগ্রা) সেব্য। যকৃতের সমস্যা থাকলে ডোজ ২৫০ মিগ্রায় হ্রাস করুন। Rifampin-এর মত CYP3A4 ইন্ডিউসার ব্যবহারে ডোজ বৃদ্ধি প্রয়োজন।

সাধারণ পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া-র মধ্যে ক্লান্তি, জয়েন্ট ব্যথা, উচ্চ রক্তচাপ ও পটাশিয়াম স্বল্পতা রয়েছে। CYP2D6/CYP2C8 সাবস্ট্রেট সহ সেবনে সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন। ২৫°সে.-এর নিচে আলো থেকে দূরে সংরক্ষণ করুন। অ্যাবিরাটেরোন অ্যাসিটেট-এর বিকল্প সম্পর্কে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন।

Only take medicine on the advice of a registered doctor.

Dosage & Administration

1,000 mg daily (four 250 mg tablets) on an empty stomach. Take prednisone twice daily for CRPC and once daily for CSPC. Reduce dose to 250 mg in hepatic impairment. Increase dosing frequency with CYP3A4 inducers. Swallow tablets whole.

Side Effects

The most common adverse reactions are fatigue, arthalgia, hypertension, nausea, edema, hypokalemia, hot flush, diarrhea, vomiting, upper respiratory infection, cough, and headache.

Pregnancy & Lactation

May cause fetal harm. Lactation safety unknown. Advise contraception during treatment.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor BP/potassium monthly. Check liver enzymes every 2 weeks initially. Report edema or shortness of breath immediately.

Use in Special Populations

Not approved for pediatric use. Adjust dose in elderly with hepatic impairment. Renal impairment needs no dose adjustment.

Overdose Effects

There is no specific antidote. In the event of an overdose, Abiron should be stopped, general supportive measures are undertaken, including monitoring for arrhythmias and cardiac failure and assess liver function.
