প্রতি স্ট্রিপে ১০টি ট্যাবলেটের মূল্য ৳১৪৫.০০ এবং ৩০টি ট্যাবলেট (৩×১০) পাওয়া যায় ৳৪৩৫.০০-এ। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে শুষ্ক, ঠাণ্ডা স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন। চিকিৎসার ধরনভেদে ডোজ ভিন্ন:

ডায়রিয়া ও পেটব্যথা সাধারণ পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া। ম্যাগনেসিয়াম অ্যান্টাসিড পরিহার করুন।

মিসোপ্রোষ্টল এর সক্রিয় মেটাবোলাইট দ্রুত শোষিত হয়ে কাজ করে। গর্ভাবস্থায় নিষিদ্ধ হলেও প্রসব সংক্রান্ত বিশেষ ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহারযোগ্য। এনএসএআইডি থেরাপির সময় গর্ভনিরোধক বাধ্যতামূলক।

Dosage & Administration

NSAID-induced ulcers: 800 mcg/day in 2-4 divided doses. Labor induction: 25 mcg vaginally every 6 hours. Max 200 mcg/day.

Side Effects

Generally, Aboprost is well tolerated. The most frequent adverse effects associated with Aboprost therapy involve the GI tract such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, rashes and dizziness. The incidence of diarrhea may be minimized by administering the drug after meal and at bedtime and by avoiding concomitant administration with a magnesium-containing or other laxative antacid.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy category X. May cause diarrhea in infants via breast milk.

Precautions & Warnings

Contraception mandatory. Fetal monitoring required during labor induction.

Use in Special Populations

Not approved under 18 years. Dose adjustment needed in hepatic/renal impairment.

Overdose Effects

The toxic dose of Aboprost in human has not been determined. Clinical signs that may indicate an overdose are a sedation, tremor, convulsions, dyspnea, abdominal pain, diarrhea and fever. Symptoms should be treated with supportive therapy.
