Acaril Tablet 50 mg

আকারিল ট্যাবলেট হলো একার্বোজ ৫০ মিগ্রা ধারণকারী একটি মৌখিক অ্যান্টিডায়াবেটিক ঔষধ, যা দ্য হোয়াইট হর্স ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস লিমিটেড প্রস্তুত করে। প্রতি ট্যাবলেটের মূল্য ৳১৫.০০ (৩০ টির প্যাক: ৳৪৫০.০০)। এই ট্যাবলেট টাইপ ২ ডায়াবেটিস নিয়ন্ত্রণে কার্বোহাইড্রেট পরিপাক বিলম্বিত করে কাজ করে।

এটি আলফা-গ্লুকোসিডেজ এনজাইম বাধা দিয়ে রক্তে গ্লুকোজের মাত্রা কমায়। সুলফোনিলইউরিয়ার বিপরীতে, এটি ওজন বৃদ্ধি করে না। রোগীদের ২৫ মিগ্রা দিনে তিনবার শুরু করে ধাপে ধাপে ৫০–১০০ মিগ্রা পর্যন্ত ডোজ ajust করা হয়। পেটে গ্যাস বা ব্যথার মতো পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া সাধারণত সময়ের সাথে কমে।

আকারিল ২৫°C এর নিচে শুষ্ক স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন। ডাইইউরেটিক্স বা কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েডের সাথে ব্যবহার এড়িয়ে চলুন। গর্ভবতী/স্তন্যদানকারী নারীদের চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নেওয়া উচিত। ওভারডোজে পেটের সমস্যা দেখা দিলে কার্বোহাইড্রেট গ্রহণ বন্ধ রাখুন। বিকল্প ঔষধের জন্য একার্বোজ জেনেরিক বিবেচনা করুন।

Initial dose: 25 mg thrice daily with first bite of main meals. Gradually increase to 50 mg thrice daily based on tolerance and HbA1c levels. Adjustments should occur at 4–8 week intervals. Do not discontinue without medical advice.

Diarrhea, gas, upset stomach, constipation, or stomach pain may occur in the first few weeks of treatment as your body adjusts to this medication but usually improve with time. Follow your prescribed diet to help lessen these side effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Pregnancy Category B: Use only if clearly needed. Contraindicated in lactation – potential excretion in breast milk. Consider alternative therapies.

Monitor liver enzymes periodically. Treat hypoglycemia with oral dextrose, not table sugar. Adjust dose for persistent GI effects. Use caution when combining with insulin secretagogues.

Not recommended for pediatric use. Elderly may use standard doses. Hepatic/renal impairment: Limited data – use with clinical monitoring.

Unlike sulfonylureas or insulin, an overdose of Acaril will not result in hypoglycemia. An overdose may result in transient increases in flatulence, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort which shortly subside. In cases of overdosage the patient should not be given drinks or meals containing carbohydrates (polysaccharides, oligosaccharides and disaccharides) for the next 4–6 hours.
