Acedone-Z Plus Chewable Tablet is a combination antacid and antiflatulent medication manufactured by Zenith Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Containing Aluminium Hydroxide (400 mg), Magnesium Hydroxide (400 mg), and Simethicone (30 mg), it offers rapid relief from acid-related discomfort and gas. Priced at ৳1.20 per tablet, it is available in strips of 10 tablets (৳12.00) and packs of 20×10 units (৳240.00).

This chewable tablet effectively neutralizes gastric acid, reduces foam in the gastrointestinal tract, and alleviates symptoms like heartburn, sour stomach, and post-operative gas pain. Its non-systemic action ensures minimal absorption into the bloodstream, making it suitable for short-term management of hyperacidity disorders.

Indications: Primarily used for peptic ulcers, gastritis, acid reflux, and hiatus hernia-related discomfort. It also prevents stress ulcers and GI bleeding. The presence of simethicone aids in expelling trapped gas, making it ideal for abdominal distension and pre-radiography preparation.
