লিথিয়াম, ডাইইউরেটিক্স বা রক্ততরলীকরণ ওষুধ সেবনকালে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন। ৩০% ব্যবহারকারীর মধ্যে হালকা পেটব্যথা বা বমিভাব দেখা দিলেও তা স্বল্পস্থায়ী। আলো ও তাপ থেকে দূরে শুষ্ক স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন।

Dosage & Administration

Dosage for adults: Extended-release tablet 200 mg once daily or film-coated tablet 100 mg twice daily. Adjust dose in renal/hepatic impairment. Take after meals to reduce GI irritation. Avoid prolonged use beyond 2 weeks without medical supervision.

Side Effects

Acegic is a non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandin. After oral administration, it is rapidly and completely absorbed an unchanged drug.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy (Category C): Use only if benefits outweigh risks. Contraindicated in third trimester. Avoid during breastfeeding due to infant risks.

Precautions & Warnings

Precautions:

Use lowest effective dose in elderly >60 years
Monitor creatinine & liver enzymes during prolonged use
Caution with machinery operation

Use in Special Populations

Special Populations:

Pediatrics: Not recommended below 18 years
Elderly: Dose adjustment based on renal function
Hepatic impairment: Reduce dose to alternate-day therapy
