Acelex Capsule হলো Cephalexin 250 mg সমৃদ্ধ একটি প্রথম প্রজন্মের সেফালোস্পোরিন অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক। ACME Laboratories Ltd প্রস্তুতকৃত এই ক্যাপসুল শ্বাসনালী, মূত্রনালী ও ত্বকের সংক্রমণ চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রতি ক্যাপসুলের মূল্য ৳৬.৬০ এবং ১০টি ক্যাপসুলের স্ট্রিপের দাম ৳৬৬.০০। ঔষধটি শুষ্ক ও ঠাণ্ডা স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করতে হবে।

Acelex Capsule 250 mg ব্যাকটেরিয়ার কোষ প্রাচীর গঠনে বাধা দিয়ে কাজ করে। এটি ব্রঙ্কাইটিস, সিস্টাইটিস, চর্ম ও কান-নাক-গলার সংক্রমণে কার্যকর। ডোজ নির্ভর করে বয়স ও রোগের তীব্রতার উপর। প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য ২৫০–৫০০ mg প্রতিদিন ৬ ঘণ্টা পরপর, শিশুদের জন্য ২৫–১০০ mg/kg/দিন। ত্বকের সংক্রমণে ১২ ঘণ্টা পরপর ৫০০ mg সুপারিশ করা হয়।

পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে বমি, ডায়রিয়া ও পেটে অস্বস্তি সাধারণ। বিরল ক্ষেত্রে অ্যালার্জি বা কোলাইটিস হতে পারে। গর্ভাবস্থায় নিরাপদ (ক্যাটাগরি B), তবে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শে ব্যবহার জরুরি। Acelex 500 mg বা Acelex 125 mg/5 ml বিকল্প হিসাবে উপলব্ধ।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 250-500 mg every 6 hours. Children: 25-100 mg/kg/day. Renal impairment requires dose adjustment. Administer after meals. Typical treatment duration: 7-14 days.

Side Effects

Side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort. Symptoms of pseudomembranous colitis may appear either during or after antibiotic treatment. Skin rash, angio oedema, rise in serum aminotransferases, eosinophilia, neutropenia have been reported very rarely. Superinfection with resistant micro organisms, particularly candida may follow the treatment.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category B. Caution during lactation. Use under medical supervision.

Precautions & Warnings

May cause false-positive urine glucose tests. Monitor renal function regularly. Follow ACME Laboratories guidelines.

Use in Special Populations

Dose reduction required in elderly and renal impairment. Pediatric dosing by weight. No special precautions for hepatic disease.
