এ্যাসিপ্রো (এসিক্লোফেনাক ১০০ মি.গ্রা.) দি হোয়াইট হর্স ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত একটি নন-স্টেরয়ডাল প্রদাহনাশক ঔষধ। অস্টিওআর্থ্রাইটিস, রিউমাটয়েড আর্থ্রাইটিস, দাঁতের ব্যথা ও মাংসপেশীর প্রদাহে এটি উচ্চ কার্যকর। প্রতি ট্যাবলেটের দাম ৳৪.৫০ এবং ৫০ টির প্যাক মূল্য ৳২২৫.০০।

এটি সাইক্লোঅক্সিজিনেজ-২ ইনহিবিটর হিসেবে প্রোস্ট্যাগ্ল্যান্ডিন উৎপাদন কমিয়ে ব্যথা-প্রদাহ নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে। এক্সটেন্ডেড রিলিজ ট্যাবলেট দিনে একবার (২০০ মি.গ্রা.), আর ফিল্ম কোটেড ট্যাবলেট দিনে দুইবার সেব্য। হৃদরোগ বা কিডনি সমস্যায় চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ আবশ্যক।

গর্ভাবস্থা/স্তন্যদানকালে এড়িয়ে চলুন। লিথিয়াম, ডাইইউরেটিক্স বা রক্তপাতকারী ঔষধের সাথে মিথষ্ক্রিয়া সম্ভাব্য। পেটে গ্যাস, মাথাব্যথা বা ফুসকুরি দেখা দিলে ঔষধ বন্ধ করে ডাক্তার দেখান। শিশুর নাগালের বাইরে শুষ্ক ও অন্ধকার স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করুন।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: Extended-release tablet 200 mg once daily OR film-coated tablet 100 mg twice daily. Reduce dose in renal/hepatic impairment. Take after meals. Duration: 7-14 days as per physician advice.

Side Effects

Acepro is a non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandin. After oral administration, it is rapidly and completely absorbed an unchanged drug.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Contraindicated in third trimester. Avoid during lactation. Not recommended in pregnancy without medical supervision.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor liver/kidney function during prolonged use. Administer PPIs in high-risk GI patients. Check creatinine in elderly. Avoid driving if dizziness occurs.

Use in Special Populations

Pediatric safety unestablished. Reduce dose in elderly/renal impairment. 50% dose reduction in hepatic cirrhosis. Not suitable for dialysis patients.
