এসিটর (ক্যাপটোপ্রিল ২৫ মি.গ্রা.) ড্রাগ ইন্টারন্যাশনাল লিমিটেড কর্তৃক উৎপাদিত একটি এসিই ইনহিবিটর। রক্তচাপ ও হার্ট ফেইলিউর ব্যবস্থাপনায় এটি কার্যকর। প্রতি ট্যাবলেটের দাম ৳৩.০৫, এবং ১০টি ট্যাবলেট সমৃদ্ধ স্ট্রিপের মূল্য ৳৩০.৫০। ১০০ ট্যাবলেটের প্যাক ৳৩০৫.০০ মূল্যে পাওয়া যায়।

এসিটর এঞ্জিওটেনসিন কনভার্টিং এনজাইম (ACE) কে বাধা দিয়ে উচ্চ রক্তচাপ নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে। হালকা থেকে গুরুতর উচ্চ রক্তচাপ এবং হার্ট ফেইলিউরের চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য প্রারম্ভিক ডোজ ১২.৫ মিগ্রা, যা খাবারের ১ ঘন্টা আগে সেব্য। শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার নিরাপদ নয়।

সাধারণ পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে হাইপোটেনশন, টাকাইকার্ডিয়া ও ত্বকের র্যাশ অন্তর্ভুক্ত। ডায়াবেটিস রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে আলিস্কিরেনের সাথে ব্যবহার নিষিদ্ধ। ৩০°C এর নিচে, আলো ও আর্দ্রতা থেকে দূরে সংরক্ষণ করুন। গর্ভাবস্থায় ব্যবহারের পূর্বে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন।

Dosage & Administration

Adults with mild hypertension: Initial dose 12.5 mg twice daily, up to 50 mg maximum. Heart failure: Start with 6.25-12.5 mg, gradually increasing to 25 mg thrice daily. Administer 1 hour before meals. Pediatric dosing not established.

Side Effects

Neutropenia, anaemia, proteinuria, hypotension, tachycardia, rashes, usually pruritic may occur. Gastric irritation and abdominal pain may occur.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category D. Discontinue during lactation. Use effective contraception while on therapy.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor renal function and electrolytes regularly. Use caution in patients with autoimmune diseases. Follow Drug International Ltd guidelines for dose adjustments.

Use in Special Populations

Elderly or renal-impaired patients require dose reduction. Pediatric safety unestablished. Hepatic impairment needs cautious use.

Overdose Effects

Correction of hypertension would be of primary concern.
