Acical JR চিউয়েবল ট্যাবলেট, ACI Limited প্রস্তুতকৃত, একটি ক্যালসিয়াম সাপ্লিমেন্ট যা ক্যালসিয়াম কার্বোনেট (250 mg) ধারণ করে। প্রতি ইউনিটের দাম ৳৩.০১ সহ এটি একটি সাশ্রয়ী সমাধান। এই চিউয়েবল ট্যাবলেট গিলতে সমস্যাযুক্ত রোগীদের জন্য উপযোগী।

এই ঔষধ ক্যালসিয়ামের অভাবজনিত অবস্থা যেমন হাইপোপ্যারাথাইরয়ডিজম, ভিটামিন ডি ঘাটতি, গর্ভাবস্থা এবং ক্রনিক কিডনি রোগে ব্যবহৃত হয়। হাইপারফসফাটেমিয়া নিয়ন্ত্রণে ডায়ালিসিস রোগীদের জন্য এটি কার্যকর। অম্লনাশক হিসাবে ব্যবহারে এটা হৃদযন্ত্রের জ্বালা ও বদহজম দ্রুত প্রশমিত করে।

মাত্রা রোগের ধরন অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তিত হয়: প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের জন্য ৫৪০–২০০০ mg/দিন (শিশুদের অর্ধেক)। কিডনি রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে ৯ gm/দিন পর্যন্ত নির্ধারিত হতে পারে। খাবারের সাথে সেবনে ফসফেট বাইন্ডিং ক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি পায়। দীর্ঘমেয়াদী ব্যবহার পরিহার করা উচিত।

পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে গ্যাস্ট্রোইনটেস্টাইনাল জ্বালা ও কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য অন্তর্ভুক্ত। কিডনি রোগীদের মধ্যে হাইপারক্যালসেমiaর ঝুঁকি বেশি। ডিজক্সিন ও টেট্রাসাইক্লিনের সাথে মিথস্ক্রিয়া সম্ভাব্য, তাই সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন। গর্ভবতী ও স্তন্যদানকারী মহিলাদের জন্য নিরাপদ।

Dosage & Administration

Adults: 540-2000 mg/day (as antacid) or 1250-3750 mg/day (as supplement). Pediatric dose: Half of adult dose. Renal patients: 2.5-9 gm/day with meals. Pregnancy: 1200-1500 mg calcium daily. Adjust based on serum calcium levels.

Side Effects

Orally administered Acical JR may be irritating to the GI tract. It may also cause constipation. Hypercalcaemia is rarely produced by administration of calcium alone, but may occur when large doses are given to patients with chronic renal failure.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safe during pregnancy/lactation. Up to 1500 mg/day recommended. Consult physician for personalized advice.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor serum/urine calcium levels during long-term use. Renal patients should restrict phosphate-rich foods. Avoid concurrent high-dose vitamin D without medical supervision.

Use in Special Populations

Pediatric: Safe in renal disease. Geriatric: Monitor for constipation. Renal impairment requires dose titration. No specific hepatic dose adjustment.
