এসিলগ মিক্স হলো এসিআই লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত বাইফেসিক ইনসুলিন অ্যাসপার্ট (৩০%+৭০%) সমৃদ্ধ একটি সাবকিউটেনিয়াস ইনজেকশন। ডায়াবেটিস মেলিটাস টাইপ ১ ও ২ এ আক্রান্ত প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও শিশুদের গ্লাইসেমিক নিয়ন্ত্রণের জন্য এই ঔষধ ব্যবহার করা হয়।

প্রতি ইউনিটের দাম ৳৮২৫ এবং ৫টি প্যাকের মূল্য ৳৪,১২৫। রেফ্রিজারেটরে (২°C–৮°C) সংরক্ষণ করতে হবে, তবে ব্যবহৃত শিশি এক মাস পর্যন্ত室温 তাপমাত্রায় রাখা যাবে। পাম্পে ব্যবহারের সময় অন্য ইনসুলিনের সাথে মিশ্রিত করা নিষিদ্ধ।

খাবারের ৫-১০ মিনিট আগে সাবকিউটেনিয়াস ইনজেকশন দিতে হবে। শিরায় প্রয়োগের ক্ষেত্রে ০.০৫–১.০ ইউনিট/মিলি ঘনত্ব প্রয়োজন। ব্যবহারের আগে শিশির মেয়াদ, ফ্লিপ অফ ক্যাপ ও সিরিঞ্জের ধরন পরীক্ষা আবশ্যক। কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েড বা বিটা-ব্লকার ব্যবহারকারীদের ডোজ সামঞ্জস্য প্রয়োজন।

হাইপোগ্লাইসেমিয়া, লিপোডিস্ট্রফি, ওজন বৃদ্ধি প্রধান পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া। গর্ভাবস্থায় গ্লুকোজ মনিটরিং জরুরি। স্তন্যদানকারী মায়েদের ডোজ সমন্বয়ের প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। অতিরিক্ত মাত্রায় হাইপোগ্লাইসেমিয়া ঘটলে গ্লুকাগন ইনজেকশন প্রয়োজন।

বাইফেসিক ইনসুলিন অ্যাসপার্ট ভিত্তিক এই ঔষধ খাদ্য পরবর্তী দ্রুত ও দীর্ঘমেয়াদি গ্লুকোজ নিয়ন্ত্রণে সহায়ক। এসিলগ মিক্স ব্যবহারের নিয়মাবলী সঠিকভাবে অনুসরণ করে ডায়াবেটিস ব্যবস্থাপনাকে কার্যকর করুন।

Dosage & Administration

Dose varies based on blood glucose levels. Adults: 2-4 times daily before meals. Pediatric dose: Weight and age-adjusted. Administer via biphasic insulin aspart after rolling vial 10 times. Inject subcutaneously for 5 seconds.

Side Effects

Side effects of Insulin Aspart are hypoglycemia, lipodystrophy, weight gain, peripheral edema.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category B. Monitor glucose closely. Lactation: Safe with dose adjustments.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor blood glucose regularly. Reduce dose in renal/hepatic impairment. Follow ACI Limited guidelines.

Use in Special Populations

Not recommended for children <2 years. Dose reduction needed in elderly and renal/hepatic impairment.

Overdose Effects

Insulin Aspart overdose may result in hypoglycemia. Mild episodes of hypoglycemia can usually be treated with oral carbohydrates. Severe hypoglycemia may be treated with parenteral glucose or injections of glucagon. Adjustments in drug dosage, meal patterns, or exercise may be needed.
