Common: Gout/Gouty Arthritis, Dizziness, Syncope, Headache, Vertigo, Hypotension, Respiratory system bleedings, Gastrointestinal haemorrhage, Diarrhoea, Nausea, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Subcutaneous or dermal bleeding, Rash, Pruritus, Urinary tract bleeding, Blood creatinine increased, Postprocedural haemorrhage, Traumatic bleedings. Uncommon: Tumour bleedings, Hypersensitivity including angioedema, Confusion, Intracranial haemorrhage, Eye haemorrhage, Ear haemorrhage, Retroperitoneal haemorrhage, Muscular bleedings.

Pregnancy Category C. Avoid during lactation. Secreted in animal milk. Risk-benefit assessment required. Consider discontinuation of breastfeeding if therapy essential.

Monitor for signs of bleeding. Discontinue 5 days pre-surgery. Caution in COPD/asthma patients. Regular renal function tests recommended. Avoid abrupt discontinuation.

No dose adjustment in elderly. Contraindicated in severe hepatic impairment. Not recommended for dialysis patients. Safety not established in pediatrics.
