Pregnancy Category B: Use only if clearly needed. Lactation caution: Excreted in breast milk. Assess neonatal risks.

Neuropsychiatric events (1-2/10,000). Monitor for behavior changes. Liver function tests recommended during long-term therapy.

There were no adverse experiences in the majority of overdosage reports. The most frequently occurring adverse experiences were consistent with the safety profile of Montinex R and included abdominal pain, somnolence, thirst, headache, vomiting and psychomotor hyperactivity.
