Moov SR Capsule (Sustained Release) is a specialized NSAID containing 100 mg Diclofenac Sodium, manufactured by Astra Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. Designed for prolonged pain relief, this sustained-release capsule effectively manages arthritis, postoperative trauma, and inflammatory conditions.

Indications:
Moov SR treats rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, and musculoskeletal injuries. It also addresses ENT inflammation, dysmenorrhea, and post-surgical pain. Its anti-inflammatory action inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, reducing pain and swelling.

Dosage:

Adults: 1 capsule daily after meals
Elderly: Use lowest effective dose
Children: Not recommended below 12 years

Safety: Avoid with anticoagulants, lithium, or methotrexate due to interaction risks. Common side effects include nausea, headache, and GI discomfort. Contraindicated in late pregnancy and severe renal impairment.

Side Effects

Moov SR is generally well tolerated. Adverse effects are mild, rare and transient. At the starting of the treatment, however, patients may be sometimes complaining of epigastric pain, eructation, nausea and diarrhea or dizziness or headache. These effects are usually mild in nature. Peripheral edema and skin reactions, such as rash and eczema have also been encountered. Moov SR Gel may cause local irritation and reddening of the skin and skin rash.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Avoid in third trimester. Use cautiously in first/second trimester. Not recommended during breastfeeding.

Precautions & Warnings

Monitor blood pressure and renal function in long-term use. Use cautiously in asthma patients.

Use in Special Populations

Pediatric: Not under 14 years. Geriatric: Start with reduced dose. Hepatic/Renal: Dose adjustment required.
