The drug reaches peak plasma concentration within 1 hour and has an 11-hour half-life, ensuring prolonged action.

Dosage Guidelines:

• Adults/children above 6: 1 tablet or 2 teaspoons daily
• Children 2-6 years: 1 teaspoon once daily
• Infants 6-23 months: ½ teaspoon every 12 hours

While generally well-tolerated, some users may experience mild drowsiness. No significant interactions occur with theophylline or macrolides. Pregnant women should use cautiously as Cetirizine enters breast milk. Store in dry areas (15-25°C) away from children.
