Dr. Nusrat Hoque

Dr. Nusrat Hoque is a distinguished female oncologist in Bangladesh, known for her expertise in clinical and radiational oncology, with advanced proficiency in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and precision-based radiotherapy. She holds MBBS from Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) and FCPS (Radiotherapy), a specialization she pursued with determination immediately after completing her medical graduation.

Currently serving as a Consultant in Clinical & Radiational Oncology at the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH), Mohakhali, Dr. Nusrat plays a key role in treating complex cancer cases using state-of-the-art radiotherapy technologies such as 2D, 3D CRT, IMRT, VMAT, and brachytherapy. Her ability to tailor treatment protocols based on disease type, stage, and patient condition makes her a trusted name for comprehensive cancer care.

Over the past decade, she has managed a wide range of cancers across both male and female patients, gaining deep insight into early detection, screening, prevention, and advanced treatment planning. Her strong foundation in both medical oncology and radiational oncology allows her to integrate multiple therapeutic approaches for improved treatment outcomes.

Dr. Nusrat began her oncology journey at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, later continuing her clinical responsibilities at Green Life Medical College & Hospital (GLMCH), where she provided essential cancer care to in-house patients. Her dedication eventually led her to join Government service as a BCS (Health) Cadre, after which she completed her FCPS (Radiotherapy) in 2021.

Beyond her medical achievements, Dr. Nusrat is actively involved in cultural programs, social welfare activities, and community initiatives through both her cadet college network and Dhaka Medical College alumni groups. She completed her higher secondary education at Mymensingh Girls Cadet College (MGCC), where she developed strong leadership qualities that continue to reflect in her professional and social contributions.
